You probably didn’t even do the original one. If blizz wants a failed event than yes no changes. Getting transmong shouldn't take over 100 wipes. Honestly for some of the tanks, it felt like the challenge was tuned to its pre-nerfed state in Legion.

I wonder if people actually remember that the tank challenge got a series of nerfs (one of which was prot pally only) during Legion? Even before ABT came out. Hopefully I can get this one again for the husband and I. The "challenge" was stupid hard during the end of Legion to begin with for Bears. I found the guardian one very fun and rewarding to do. You should need to use everything in your kit, juggle mechanics and still just barely eek by. The first "new content" in months and people want to walk in and one shot it.
Should be moderately prestigious and rewarding and this version of the mage tower will be around forever (every 4 months, bad implementation by Blizz for sure) rather than being removed after the expansion. Yes it was easy at the end of Legion but I dont see why it should be easy now. The MT was originally meant to be a challenge and it was at the start. That's when/how 99% of playerbase did it back in legion, so your point is invalid. Ah, you only did the Mage Tower at the end of legion fully overgeared then.
